Chinese scientific research institutes initiated technology research on yak embryo transfer to protect and develop rare species of yaks on the Tibetan Plateau. The Tibet Yak Research and Development Center and the Kunming Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences cooperated to carry out this research.
