Precautions for the use of the hammer type feed mill

(1) The power (n) of the power machine should be determined according to the production capacity (q) of the crusher, and should not be too large or too small. It should generally be calculated as follows: n = (6.4 - 10.5) q. The unit of n is kilowatt, and the unit of q is tons/hour. If the pulverization is required to be finer, the value of the coefficient may be larger. If the pulverization is required to be coarser, the value of the coefficient may be smaller. After the calculation results are made, the selection is based on the actual power of the motor. The height is not low. If the calculation result is about 6 kW, the 7.5 kW motor is used, and 5.5 kW cannot be used.

(2) The spindle speed (n is the unit of revolution/minute) to meet the requirements in the manual. Otherwise, the speed of the hammer is low, the impact is not good, and the production capacity is reduced. However, the spindle speed is not as high as possible, too high, the machine is strongly vibrated, the noise is increased, the parts are easily damaged, and even an accident may occur. In order to achieve a certain speed, the motor is mainly replaced and the rotating device is adjusted.

(3) The crusher should be installed on a solid concrete foundation or a steel base to prevent strong vibration, damage to the machine, and even accidents. When installing the belt drive, the center line of the pulley of the motor and the pulley of the pulverizer should be aligned. It should be in a vertical plane, and the two spindles should be parallel to prevent the belt from being pulled off, which affects the normal transmission.

1. Hammer screen clearance. If the gap is too large, the chance of the feed being hit by the hammer is reduced. The feed is moving slowly on the sieve surface. The outer layer of the circulation layer is a large feed, which hinders the feed of small particles through the sieve hole, resulting in no discharge. The gap is too small, although the feed is more likely to be hit by the hammer, but the circulation layer moves too fast, the finely divided feed is not easily discharged from the sieve hole, the residence time of the feed in the crushing chamber is increased, and the feed is pulverized too finely. The particle size requirement is not met. The optimum hammer sieve gap for general grain feed is 4--6 mm, and the straw type is 10--14 mm.

2. Screen diameter. In the case of meeting the needs of livestock and poultry and the requirements of the standard, the larger the diameter of the sieve mesh is, the better. The production capacity can be improved, the finished particles are uniform, and the fine powder is small.

3. The wear of the hammer. When the sharp corner of the hammer wears more than 1/2 of its width, it should be adjusted, used, or replaced with a new one. When changing the hammer, the original arrangement should not be changed arbitrarily and the number of pieces should be reduced or increased. It should not be replaced only by a part, so that the quality of the hammer between the groups is too large, and the quality of the two sets of hammers is not allowed. More than 5 grams, so as not to cause the machine to run unbalanced, the imported pump vibrates strongly.

4. When the machine smashes the straw, the initial cutting device is installed at the feeding port. The clearance between the fixed and movable blades should be between 2 and 4 mm.

5. The transmission belt should be checked and adjusted for tightness after installation or after working for a period of time. The tightness is to press the middle of the transmission belt with a hand, and the arc height is preferably 18--25 mm. The tightness adjustment of the drive belt can be achieved by changing the relative position of the motor and the pulverizer.

(4) The crushed feed shall not be mixed with metal blocks, nails, stones, etc., so as to avoid damaging the hammer and the rotor. The moisture content in the feed should generally be less than 15%. If the water content is too high, the feed is not easily broken.

(5) Careful inspection before starting the machine. In particular, it is necessary to check whether high-speed moving parts such as hammers are installed firmly and reliably. Check the split pin on the hammer pin, such as excessive wear or breakage, should be replaced in time. Check whether the lubricating oil in the main bearing is sufficient. Generally, it is necessary to refuel one time before each shift to ensure reliable lubrication of the main bearing. Check for any foreign matter in the crushing chamber. Turn the pulley by hand to check whether the rotor is flexible or not. There should be no abnormalities such as jamming and friction. Check that the screen is installed securely and leaks. Check that the motor wiring is correct and secure.

(6) If all the above checks are good, turn on the power again, first check whether the motor is rotating normally, and then see if the steering of the pulverizer is consistent with the manual. Otherwise, any two power supplies that are tuned into the motor should be turned on. The line is corrected. After starting up, idle for 1 - 2 minutes, and then make sure that there is no abnormality before feeding. Feeding must be uniform, not too much or too little, such as too much feeding, not only the smashing effect is not good, hindering the rotation of the rotor, and increasing the load of the motor, causing the bearing and the motor to overheat or even burn out. If abnormal noise, abnormal odor, discharge blockage, bearing and motor overheating are found during work, stop feeding, power failure check, and use after troubleshooting.

(7) After the work is finished, the machine should be idling for 2 to 3 minutes, so that all the feed in the machine can be discharged before stopping. The inside and outside of the machine should be cleaned, especially the dust on the motor casing should be removed in time to avoid affecting its heat dissipation. After the pulverizer is operated for 200 hours, the main bearing should be removed and cleaned once, and then the lubricant should be added. If the downtime is long, the drive belt should be removed to prevent the belt from being stretched.
