For the third consecutive year, we have cultivated straw mushrooms in idle sheds and achieved remarkable economic benefits. Now we introduce the specific practices as follows:
1 The soil in the treatment shed of the greenhouse should be sown and exposed to white. The soil was disinfected about 15 days before sowing and sprayed with 5% formaldehyde and 500-fold diluted phoxim. Then we do the earthwork, we have a width of 0.8 to 1 meters, a depth of about 0.1 meters, and a walkway width of 0.4 meters. Mushrooms and the soil on the walkway must be thoroughly irrigated, but appropriate amounts of manure and lime must be applied to the soil on the walkway to increase the nutrients and pH of the soil so that it can be used as a cover after sowing. After water infiltration, sprinkle the amount of lime of 100g/m2 on the surface of the soil. The roof is covered with haystacks to reduce the light in the shed.
2 The formula of the culture material is wheat straw 80% - 90%, lime 5%, bran 5% or decomposed manure 10%. Wheat straw needs to be soaked and softened. Dig a shallow pit near the cultivation shed. The inside of the pit is lined with a film of water leakage. Fill the pit with a layer of grass and spread the limestone. The material is pressed on several sticks and then poured into the pit to flood the surface. After soaking for about 2 days, remove the fodder, leach to clear water, mix in bran or manure, adjust pH 8 to 9, and the moisture content is 65% to 70%.
3 Spreading Seeding The prepared culture material is spread in mushroom pods, and the material thickness after proper compaction reaches about 20 cm, and the material surface is formed into a turtle shape with low middle height and four sides. After sowing for 2 days, it can be ventilated 1 to 2 times a day for about 15 minutes each time. Afterwards, the amount of ventilation increases as it grows. After 5 to 6 days of sowing, the hyphae can grow over the culture material and complete the germination. 6 Problems that should be noted (1) Mycelial growth stage: Under the conditions of high temperature, high humidity, and poor ventilation, the hyphae tends to be long and does not extend into the material. The temperature and humidity of the culture material are too high, or the material pressure is too strong, and when the aging strain is used, hyphae tend to shrink. Once an abnormal phenomenon occurs, the cause should be identified and remedial measures should be taken promptly. (2) Growth stage of fruiting bodies: To prevent the occurrence of malformed mushrooms and dead mushrooms.
