How to use fat feed for broilers

The proportion of fat in broiler diets is usually 0.5% in the previous period and 5% to 6% in the latter period. Due to the large viscosity of the oil, it must be heated and melted before adding it, and then the powder can be added in as little as possible and evenly mixed. Do not mix grease directly with additives to prevent sticking into balls and not mix well. Sprayers can also be used to evenly spray the grease onto the pellet feed surface. For conditional production of pellet feed, 30% of the total amount of added fat can also be added to the pellet feed, and the other 70% can be sprayed onto the surface of the pellet feed to increase the palatability of the feed. When adding fat and feed to broiler diets, attention should be paid: 1. Do not use deteriorating oils. Second, pay attention to the balance of nutrition in the diet. After the addition of oil, due to the increase in the energy level of the diet, other nutrients in the feed must be adjusted accordingly, in particular to maintain the egg to energy ratio. Third, the storage time of fat-containing feed should not be too long. Storage is prolonged or stored under high temperature conditions prone to rancidity. In general, fat-containing feed should not be stored for more than 7 days in summer and not exceed 21 days in winter. Fourth, antioxidants should be added to the feed to prevent rancidity.
