Peanut Nutrition and Fertilization

First, peanuts on the nutritional requirements and absorption dynamics. For every 50 kg of pods produced, peanuts need to absorb about 3-3.4 kg of nitrogen, 0.65-0.7 kg of phosphorus, and 1.45-1.75 kg of potassium. Peanut's absorption of major nutrients is nitrogen, potassium, phosphorus and calcium. The absorption dynamics of nutrients at different growth stages of peanuts were: less absorption at the seedling stage, gradual increase in the flowering period, maximum tillering period, and decline in the ripening period. The results showed that: the absorption of nitrogen in peanut seedlings (accounting for the percentage of total absorption during the whole growth period, the same below) was 4.8%, phosphorus 5.19%, and potassium 6.73%; nitrogen absorption 17%, phosphorus 22.64%, potassium 22.25%; Nitrogen uptake was 48.5%, phosphorus 49.53%, and potassium 66.35% during the clams; 29.7% nitrogen uptake, 22.64% phosphorus, and 4.67% potassium during maturity.

Second, fertilization method. Peanut fertilization should be dominated by organic fertilizers, supplemented by chemical fertilizers; basal fertilizers should be the main supplement; top dressing should be supplemented by seedlings; top dressings should be mainly seedlings, supplemented by flowering fertilizers and strong fruit fertilizers; basic principles for the combined use of nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, and calcium should be applied. .

1. Base fertilizer: The amount of peanut base fertilizer should generally account for 70% of the total amount of fertilizer, mainly organic fertilizer, with appropriate amount of compound fertilizer. Mushi organic fertilizer 1500-2000 kilograms, red day Akon series compound fertilizer 30-40 kilograms, combined with pre-cast soil preparation, uniform application, and even after sowing.

2. Top dressing: (1) Seedling stage: Applying available nitrogen fertilizer at the 3-5 leaf stage has good effects in promoting early branch growth and increasing flowering and pod number. Usually 5-6 kg of urea per mu, or 1500-2000 kg of human and animal manure. (2) Flowering and scarring: After the initial flowering, the absorption of nutrients increased sharply, but the rhizobia began to supply nutrient of peanut nitrogen continuously. If nitrogen fertilizer is applied excessively, the stems and leaves of the later period could easily cause leggy and inverted seedlings. Therefore, after flowering, generally no topdressing nitrogen fertilizer is applied, but mainly to grasp the initial flowering period of peanuts combined with the last cultivator weeding, application of compound fertilizer and calcium fertilizer. Normally, 10 kilograms of red compound fertilizer and 10-20 kilograms of lime are applied per acre. (3) Fruit-filling period: During this period, the demand for phosphorus increases, and the method of spraying phosphorus from the root can be adopted. Spray with 0.3% of potassium dihydrogen phosphate, spray once every 7-10 days, and continuously spray 2-3 times.
