Precautions for raising good pheasants in summer

The pheasant is a rare and wild bird known for its rapid growth, strong disease resistance, and high nutritional value. Its meat is not only tender and flavorful but also rich in essential nutrients, with a unique aroma that sets it apart from other poultry. The crude protein content of pheasant meat is two to three times higher than that of broiler chickens, making it an excellent source of high-quality protein. It contains all the essential amino acids, has lower fat and cholesterol levels, and is particularly rich in iron—up to 10 to 15 times more than common poultry. Pheasant meat is not only delicious but also highly beneficial for health, offering potential anti-cancer properties and overall wellness benefits. After conducting a thorough market survey, farmer Bai Xuezeng from Jinwan Village, Xindian Town, Xinye County, Henan Province, discovered that pheasants were in high demand among consumers. In 1997, he established a pheasant breeding farm, implementing scientific management practices throughout all stages, including hatching, brooding, feeding, disease prevention, and growth management. This led to the formation of a complete production and supply chain. Within just two years, the farm became the largest pheasant breeding base in southern Henan, covering 6,000 square meters and earning the title of "King of Chickens." In summer, raising pheasants in the hot weather can be challenging. Bai Xuezeng shared his practical experience on how to maintain healthy and productive pheasants during this season: 1. **Ventilation and Cooling** – During the hot summer months, creating a cool and comfortable environment is crucial. If possible, relocate the henhouse to a shaded, tree-filled area. If relocation isn’t feasible, install a canopy to block direct sunlight. Pheasants are often kept outdoors, either in open aquaculture systems or in a combination of indoor and outdoor setups with both a free-range area and shelter from wind and rain. The housing must remain well-ventilated and fresh at all times. 2. **Clean Drinking Water** – High temperatures can easily contaminate water sources. Change the water twice daily, and when doing so, clean the containers with a 0.1% potassium permanganate solution. Always ensure there is an ample supply of clean water available. Never restrict water access. When temperatures exceed 35°C, adding 3% white sugar to the drinking water can help lower body temperature and prevent heatstroke. 3. **Disease Prevention** – Keeping the chicken house clean is essential for disease control. Regular cleaning and weekly disinfection using a 100 toxin or sterilizer (diluted 1:1000) are recommended. Before spraying, remove feeders and drinkers. Additionally, supplementing feed with 0.04% oxytetracycline twice a week and adding 10,000 units of penicillin per liter of water once a week can significantly reduce the risk of illness. 4. **Lighting and Feeding** – Pheasants tend to eat most in the early morning and late evening. Adjust lighting accordingly—turn on lights two hours before dawn to provide food and water, and keep them on for 2–3 hours at night. Ensure sufficient feed and water during these periods, and use low-intensity lighting (3–4 watts per square meter). Feed pheasants 3–4 times daily, spacing out each meal to allow proper digestion. The feed should be nutritionally balanced, with metabolic energy between 2700–2750 kcal, crude protein over 23%, complete amino acids, and added trace elements along with green feed for optimal health.

Imported Premium Rubber

Rubber is a high elastic polymer material with reversible deformation. It is elastic at room temperature and can produce a large deformation under the action of a small external force. It can recover its original state after the removal of external force. Rubber is a completely amorphous polymer with a low glass transition temperature (T G) and a high molecular weight of more than several hundred thousand.

Rubber is divided into natural rubber and synthetic rubber two kinds. Natural rubber is made from rubber tree, rubber grass and other plants after extraction and processing. Synthetic rubber is made by polymerization of various monomers. Rubber products are widely used in all aspects of industry or life.
