1 , the main box
The main body box is the place where the series of photochemical reactor illumination devices are placed, which has the following characteristics:
The size of the box is 480mm × 420mm × 900mm and weighs about 29kg.
The interior of the cabinet is black to reduce light reflection (optional shading device).
There is a cooling fan on the rear panel of the cabinet, and two semi-circular slots for inserting the activity hook to fix the water, air pipe and lamp line.
There is a “water flow switch” in the center of the rear panel of the cabinet to realize the shutdown (cooling water) water alarm. There are 8 holes in the lower part of the rear plate for the cooling water pipes, air pipes and cables connected to the controller.
There are 3 dedicated sockets on the left side of the cabinet for the motor, lamp and output plug of the “water flow switch”.
2. Mercury lamp and mercury lamp electrical controller
The light source is a 300W medium pressure mercury lamp that produces 40% of the total energy emitted. Ultraviolet light is harmful to the eyes and skin, and sunglasses are required for handling.
After the mercury lamp is turned on for 5 minutes, the light is stable. After turning off the light, it takes about 5 minutes to restart.

The light-emitting part of the mercury lamp is a quartz tube, and direct contact with the hand causes pollution and affects the light intensity. The outside of the quartz vessel is usually cleaned with a small amount of alcohol and cleaned with a small amount of alcohol.
The controller panel is provided with: main power, lamp selection, lamp power, motor, lamp start and other switches and total time setting, time setting, lamp current meter, alarm indication. There is a fan exhaust heat in the controller.
The controller measures 400mm x 215mm x 440mm and weighs about 23kg.

When the main box cable is connected to the controller incorrectly, or the tap water for cooling is lower than the normal water pressure, the alarm light will emit an alarm and the instrument will not work.
3 xenon lamp and xenon lamp electrical controller
The light source is a 500W xenon lamp, and its external dimensions and photoelectric parameters are shown in Table 3.
