German chives cultivation techniques

In recent years, Shanghai's Chongming County has introduced German all-green mini-scallions to grow and freeze-dried small shallots using vacuum freeze-drying technology. It has been exported to Japan, Europe and the United States, and has achieved good economic benefits. The plant stands upright, the plant height is 45-50 cm, the leaf blade is slender, the leaf color is dark green, the diameter of the tubular leaf is 3-5 cm, and the tillering power is strong. More heat-resistant and not cold-resistant, suitable temperature for the growth of 22-24 °C, wide adaptability to the soil, hi wet, not drought. The texture is soft, the fragrance is thick, and the quality is good. In Chongming County, it will harvest 4-5 baht per year and produce 1000-1200 kg per mu.

Sowing seedlings: Suitable sowing time is from March to May and from September to October. Before sowing, soak in seeds in warm water of 55°C for 20 minutes, rinse with water, and soak after drying. Choose a high-desert land with good soil quality, make a 1.2-meter-wide seedbed, deep-groove sorghum, and apply decomposed organic fertilizer as a base fertilizer. Seeding seedbeds before the end of the day sow planting seedlings per square meter seedlings 4-5 grams, and then cover 0.5 centimeters of fine soil, watering after suppression, while covering the surface of the shading nets, straw and other objects moisturizing. Keep the soil moist after sowing and before leaving the leaves.

Soil fertigation. Transplanting field and early deep-cultivation drying, spread 2000 kg of high-quality organic fertilizer per acre, 45% of 50-70 kg of compound fertilizer, all-cultivation layer deep. After the basal fertilizer was applied, it was finely grounded and made a 1.5-meter-wide sorghum covering the black mulch.

Planting density. Planting 4-6 plants per hole with a row spacing of 20 cm and a spacing of 10 cm on the mulch.

Water and fertilizer management. In order to ensure the annual growth, sufficient fertilizer and water must be ensured. In terms of water management, ensure sufficient moisture when transplanting to a plant height of 15 cm, and promote the rapid growth of shallots. In the middle of growth, the moisture should be gradually reduced to dry and wet. In the fertilization, the main growth of the leaf should be promoted, and the quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer should be applied. Generally, fertilizer is topdressed once every 15 days, and 10 kg of urea or other nitrogen fertilizer equivalent is applied per acre. After harvesting, appropriate amount of phosphorus and potassium fertilizer should be applied on the basis of topdressing nitrogen fertilizer to improve product quality.

Pest control. The main diseases and pests are rust, thrips, and leaf miners. Attention should be paid to alternate drug control. The concentrations and times of use should not be arbitrarily increased. After the drug is used, safety intervals must be achieved before harvest.

Harvested. Two months after planting, the plants were harvested at a height of 30-40 cm. It can be harvested once in about 1 month in a suitable growing season.
