Rice field snail breeding technology

Snails are miscellaneous, fast-growing, adaptable, easy to breed, and easy to grow. In this way, you can avoid weaknesses and gain advantages and avoid disadvantages. Rice field cultivation has the economic advantages of fast growth cycle, less disease, easy management, and good economic benefits. It is a short, flat, and quick-to-rich project, especially in areas with abundant aquatic resources, with great development potential and broad prospects.

First, the rice field chooses to grow spiral rice fields to choose paddy fields that do not dry out or flood, and do not use agricultural machines for farming and plowing. However, weeds must be eradicated.

Second, the water quality requirements of snail is more sensitive to the dissolved oxygen in the field, when the oxygen content is less than 3.5 mg / l when feeding is poor, dissolved oxygen at 1.5 mg / l began to die. Therefore, Tianshui must have fresh water and high dissolved oxygen.

Third, paddy field facilities can also be left empty when transplanting rice. Within 1 week after planting, high-yielding ditch with a width of 20-30 cm and a ditch depth of 13-17 cm should be excavated. The inlet and outlet of paddy fields should also be developed. Set denser grilles or smaller mesh polyethylene nets. Tian Hao was strictly prevented from leaking through holes in rats, snakes, etc. to prevent snails from fleeing.

IV. Snail’s stocking and management

1, stocking. Artificially cultivated snails should be flexibly controlled according to the actual situation, generally 9-105,000 per hectare. Can also be placed snails, generally 0.1-0.5 kg per square meter stocking screw.

2, feeding. The snails are miscellaneous, and in addition to eating natural foods, they can be fed with some vegetables, bean cakes, rice bran, quail, etc., as well as other animal organs and scraps. The bait should be fresh and the bait can be fed 2 weeks after it is produced. When baiting, the solid bait should be soaked first, and the fish miscellaneous, animal viscera, and scraps should be crushed, and then mixed with rice bran or bran and fed. Feed once a day, feeding time is usually 8-9 am. The amount of daily feeding is approximately 1%-3% of the total weight of the snail, and as the body weight gradually increases, its food intake can be adjusted appropriately. For some of the more fertile rice fields, it is also possible not to feed bait; let them ingest natural zooplankton and aquatic plants in the water.

When feeding, if the meat shrunk by the snail lamellae is found to be overflowing, it indicates that the snail is deficient in calcium, and at this time, shrimp rind and shell powder should be added to the bait. If the bracts are trapped inside the shell, it is due to lack of food and hunger. The feeding amount should be increased to avoid affecting the growth and reproduction of snails.

3, feeding and management. The maintenance of snails, the most important thing is to pay attention to good water quality, water temperature. In the summer and autumn, snails are feeding well and are in high temperature seasons. They use flushing water to change irrigation fields, lower the water temperature, and increase the amount of dissolved oxygen. In addition, water and industrial wastewater with high levels of iron, sulfur, etc., must not be used because it will directly lead to the death of snails.

Seafood is consumed all over the world, it provides the world's prime source of high-quality protein: 14–16% of the animal protein consumed worldwide; over one billion people rely on seafood as their primary source of animal protein. The nutrients and minerals in seafood can make improvements in brain development and reproduction and has highlighted the role for seafood in the functions of the human body. Seafood mix has been shown to help the symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis – a painful condition that causes joints to swell up, reducing strength and mobility.
