Feeding tips for several types of fish feed

Feed is the largest expense in fish farming. Implementing scientific feeding methods not only promotes the healthy growth of fish, but also helps save feed and significantly improves the efficiency of fish farming. 1. Pellet feed is typically 2.5 to 8 mm in diameter and 5 to 10 mm in length, making it suitable for direct feeding into fish ponds. Avoid feeding damp feed directly; it should be dried first before being given to the fish. If the feed is spoiled or of poor quality, it should not be fed again to avoid poisoning the fish. 2. For cake-based feeds, they should be broken down, soaked, grated, or processed before feeding. Medium to large fish can be fed with soaked feed, while smaller fish may need more preparation. 3. Grains such as corn should be crushed and processed before feeding. Small grains like millet can be sprouted and then fed to the fish. Sprouted grains are rich in nutrients, easy to digest, and help fish gain weight quickly. 4. Green feed, such as fresh vegetables or aquatic plants, is ideal for medium to large fish. After removing soil or dirt, it can be fed directly. For small fish, it should be chopped or mashed, and a 0.2% salt solution can be added to enhance palatability. Cooked green feed mixed with bran and soda is also a good option that small fish tend to prefer. 5. Dregs (waste from food processing) are suitable for small fish when soaked, while medium to large fish benefit from fermented dregs with a pleasant aroma. Start with small amounts and gradually increase up to no more than 30% of the total daily feed. 6. Protein-rich feeds like maggots, fly larvae, and insects are excellent sources of animal protein for fish. They can be fed directly or dried and ground into powder to mix with other feeds. For bulk animal feed, chopping, grinding, and forming small pellets can improve digestion and feeding efficiency. 7. Manure, including chicken, pig, and cow dung, can serve as a valuable feed source for fish. After drying, it should be ground into powder and mixed with other feeds in appropriate proportions. Typically, chicken manure makes up 40–50%, cow dung 50–70%, and pig manure 30–50% of the mixture. This approach not only reduces waste but also provides essential nutrients for fish growth. By following these feeding practices, fish farmers can optimize their resources, reduce costs, and ensure better productivity and sustainability in their aquaculture operations.

PT141 Powder

Palatin Technologies Inc. (NYSE: PT-141) announced today that it has shown positive results in a Phase I clinical trial of pT-141 for the treatment of sexual dysfunction in normal premenopausal women.

The trial included 32 healthy female volunteers and evaluated their response to pT-141 and placebo in response to visual stimuli. Pt-141 was found to be safe and resulted in a significantly greater improvement in vaginal blood flow than placebo users (P< 0.05).

role

Such antibiotics first affect the outer membrane of sensitive bacteria. Drug ring part of polypeptide amino and lipopolysaccharide in the outer membrane 2 valence cations combining site to produce electrostatic interaction, destroy the integrity of the outer membrane damage, fatty acid part of drugs to penetrate the outer membrane, thus increase the permeability of cell size, lead to intracytoplasmic phosphate, nucleosides and other small molecules to escape, straight die cause cell dysfunction. Gram-positive bacteria do not respond to such antibiotics because they have a thick cell wall that prevents drugs from entering the bacteria.
