The bellows at the rear of the dryer house the box-type vibration exciter, which is driven by a motor through a coupling mechanism. The vibration exciter operates through a drive shaft, generating a horizontal excitation force. The plate spring (or resonance spring) amplifies this force, creating both vertical and horizontal components. The vertical component propels the material upward alongside the hot air flowing through the nozzle plate, ensuring the material remains in a fluidized state. Simultaneously, the horizontal component moves the material forward at a controlled rate, discharging it through the overflow weir and discharge hopper to complete the drying process. The placement of the excitation source at the head of the equipment optimizes stress distribution, allowing the use of a dual-mass vibrating fluidized bed dryer to replace multiple conventional vibrating beds in series. This not only reduces capital expenditure and construction costs but also enhances operational efficiency through its advanced vibration design, ensuring synchronized vibrations across the entire width and length of the large bed. The extended length and increased surface area of the dryer significantly extend the residence time of the material, which is advantageous for the thorough drying of large particle materials. The combination of vibration and reduced fluidization speeds minimizes wear and helps maintain particle stability. High-frequency vibrations improve the uniformity of hot air distribution, boosting heat transfer efficiency between the hot air and the wet material. This approach prevents problems such as localized stagnant beds, wall accumulation, channel flow, and turbulence in static fluidized beds, enabling the double-mass vibrating fluidized bed dryer to handle the drying of sticky polymers and viscous organic substances effectively. The dryer features a blister-like hood covering the distributor plate, producing horizontal airflow that minimizes product contact with the dryer floor and prevents overheating. The high-speed shearing action on larger particles ensures consistent fluidization. When the dryer is idle, the hood prevents any residual product from falling into the pressure equalizing bellows. The fluidization chamber's level can be regulated via a weir, maintaining a constant level throughout the drying cycle. Observation windows on either side of the fluidization chamber allow for real-time monitoring of the process. Applications span a wide range of industries and materials, including MBS, ABS, adipic acid, polyacrylamide, acrylamide crystals, polytetrafluoroethylene, phenolic resins, nylon, polypropylene resins, polyester chips, polyvinyl chloride, sodium carbonate, salt, ammonium nitrate, potassium carbonate, potassium chlorate, potassium chloride, potassium nitrate, potassium phosphate, potassium sulfate, fermented feeds, extruded pellet feeds, organic fertilizers, alcohol residues, antibiotic residues, and waste materials.
