Planting bananas three notes

Bananas can be grown in various ways—either by planting them in villages, near ponds, at the edge of fields, behind houses, or at the foot of mountains. During the period before and after the Spring Festival, when temperatures begin to rise, it's an ideal time to select strong, disease-free banana seedlings for planting. Once they are established, you can start the first round of top dressing in March. For each banana plant, apply 50 grams of urea and 200 grams of agricultural salt during the first feeding. Then continue fertilizing once a month, applying 50 grams of urea for five consecutive months. On average, each plant will grow around 26 leaves, after which you can encourage bud development, and harvest bananas by October. Throughout the growing process, it’s important to remove any unwanted seedlings that grow near the base of the mother plant. This ensures that nutrients are directed to the main plant, helping it grow faster and healthier. Never allow more than one banana shoot to grow from the same plant, as excessive shoots will compete for water, sunlight, and nutrients, ultimately weakening the mother plant and reducing your yield. When it comes to selecting replacement seedlings, choose long, full, and vigorously growing ones. If you plan to expand your plantation, you can keep one or two additional seedlings, but all others should be removed to ensure only the best replacements are selected. This helps maintain stable growth and high yields in the following year. In the next spring, when the weather warms up, leave one new seedling per plant and remove the rest. Carefully dig out the old fruit-bearing roots, being careful not to damage the new seedlings. At the same time, apply top dressing again, using 50 grams of urea and 200 grams of agricultural salt per plant. Continue with regular care as described. Using this method, you can expect a harvest in the same year you plant, and the yield will be more than 30% higher compared to naturally grown bananas. In contrast, if you follow traditional methods, the banana plants may not mature in time, and cold weather in winter often leads to lower production.
